Pastor Jamie is originally from Clanton, Alabama. He and his wife, Sheri, met at Ft. Rucker, Al while serving in the military and were married in January 2003. They have three wonderful children, Vanessa, Jacob, and Samantha.
Jamie retired from the U.S. Army in 2012 after twenty years of service and was then called into the Gospel Ministry that same year. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Religion. His wife Sheri served the Army for 22 years as an Air Traffic Controller, first as a soldier, and then as a civilian.
Pastor Jamie served as the Pastor for Administration and Bible Studies at the Grace Place Church for two years before God called him and his family to Uganda, Africa as missionaries. There, they served with Four Corners Ministries from 2016-2021 dedicated to sharing and demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ with unreached and under-equipped people groups.
On 20 March 2022, Pastor Jamie was officially called as the Senior Pastor of the Grace Place Church. He and his family are excited for the opportunity to serve our Lord by making disciples who make disciples. They are overjoyed and humbled to be a part of a God-exalting, Gospel-centered, Bible-saturated church family.
