Rev. Samuel Duff is a native of Butler, Alabama. In 1991 he met the love of his life Gloria and they were married within six months of dating. They have two children, Samuel Duff Jr., Achassity Summers and a wonderful son in law Danail Summers. A beautiful granddaughter, Marley.
He was called into the Ministry and became a Licensed Ordained minister in 1994. He believes in learning more about the Word of God, so he attended E. L. White Seminary School in Mobile, Al. and the Birmingham Theology Seminary School of Briarwood, Birmingham, Al. where he earned his Master and Doctoral of Divinity.
He has held many leadership positions, worked in Hospice care where he ministered to the sick and their family members. He pastored churches until he was given the vision to start his ministry, “Open Heart Ministry”. One of his favorite scriptures is 1 Samuel 16:7…The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.
