Tommy Duke

Make your reservations for what we believe will be the largest gathering of Alabama church planting types ever to assemble.

The Alabama Church Planters’ Network Dinner will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017, 4:30-8:30 p.m., at Essential Church, 1806 University Drive, Huntsville. This is the Sunday before the Alabama Baptist Pastors Conference on November 13 and the Alabama Baptist Convention meeting on November 14-15.

The cost will be $15 per person or  $25 for a couple.

We advertise this event as a family reunion of church planter types. It is really for any Kingdom-minded person. Church planters and their wives or anyone interested is invited to this event.

The speaker for this event will be Tommy Duke, connection pastor at Calvary Baptist Church, Savannah, Georgia. He has served as pastor of churches in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Florida and planted new churches in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Boca Raton, Florida.

Tommy has had five-plus years of experience in training, resourcing and coaching church leaders as vice-president of Training for Church Leader Insights and Nelson Searcy.

Alongside Searcy, Tommy co-taught The Launch Conference of 500-plus church planters. Since 2014, Tommy has trained more than 195 men in coaching networks across Alabama. Tommy and his wife, Amber, live in Savannah and have two children.

“Tommy is a great guy with a heart for Christ and for pastors, especially church planters. As an experienced church planter and pastor, Tommy identifies with and empathizes with those of us in the trenches. He has a talent for laying out significant knowledge in ways that promote memory retention in the listener. His insights into the challenges of planting and how to navigate through those challenges are well worth the investment of time!” – Faron Golden, church planter
