Learn About Our Church
About Us
I was born and raised one county over in Madison County, and my wife was raised in North Mobile County. We met during my time in college at the University of Mobile. We married in November of 2010 and have 3 kiddos: Cooper (14), Hudson (11), and Maddy (7).
Our Call to Plant
I served as student pastor at Lindsay Lane Baptist for 9+ years. In that time, we launched a contemporary service that I was given charge of. Although the service never really made the DNA of the church, planting did. The pastor casted a vision for a plant in the Elkmont community, an area that my wife and I had just providentially moved to a few months before and had begun building relationships. We were all in from that point forward.
About Our Church Plant
Our mission statement at North is to be “in the community, for the community.” From our beginnings as a fully mobile church meeting in the local school, now in a permanent location downtown, we strive to build relationship bridges any way possible, in order to meet our community’s greatest need: the gospel of Jesus. We are planted in a very rural area of North Alabama, and the Lord has granted so much favor between our church and our small town.
Upon becoming autonomous in January 2025, and changing our name from Lindsay Lane North to North Church Elkmont we have adopted a 3 part purpose statement. North exists to see all people 1) Encounter Christ, 2) Engage in His Community, and 3) Enlist in His Commission
