About Us
Kayli and I were married in 2019. She grew up in the Central Valley of California, and I was raised in Orlando, FL. We met at church in Chelsea, AL, where God brought us together through hilarious circumstances. We have two kiddos, Eli and Louie.
Our Call to Plant
God used my previous position of ministry at Liberty Baptist to open the door into church planting. Although it was something I was not considering seriously, when our church was given the opportunity to replant a dying church in our association, I was ready to throw myself into it! God used this opportunity to convict me of His love for struggling churches, and His desire to see them renewed for Gospel impact.
About Our Church Plant
We are a replanted church near the border of Calera, Montevallo, and Alabaster. This puts us in the midst of a diverse demographic including English and Spanish speakers, young families, upwardly mobile middle class and blue collar workers. More than anything, we’re at the crossroads of fun-centric, busy, “familyville USA,” just south of a major recreational hub, and just west of a new development with almost 1,000 homes going in. We truly have an incredible opportunity to lift Jesus up and call people to follow Him above all else.
How to pray for us
- Pray that busy, distracted families will prioritize Jesus in their lives.
- Pray for unity as a multigenerational yet small church.
- Pray for God to stir up leaders in our midst to elevate the ministry our church can accomplish.
