About Us
My wife Erin and I have been married since 2008 and we have three kids. Two boys and a girl, Zay, True, and Magnolia. I grew up in a military family, so I moved all over before settling down after bible college in Alabama. My wife is from the Mobile area, and all of our kids have been born in Alabama. We have been in Gadsden since 2011.
Our Call to Plant
God called us to plant a church in a time of transition from student ministry wondering what our next steps would be. We went through the church planting process in Chicago with NAMB and God confirmed two things for us there. 1. We were definitely supposed to plant a church. 2. Chicago was NOT the place for us. In God’s plan, we planted the church we originally thought would be in Denver, CO right here in Gadsden, AL.
About Our Church Plant
In Etowah County we have roughly 100,000 people that live in our county. We have roughly one church for every 300 people, but 7 out of 10 people don’t go to church anywhere. Our mission is to help people build their lives on Jesus. I have always had a heart for people who don’t go to church, don’t like church, or who think church is not for them. We wanted to reach people who no one else was reaching, so we’ve been willing to do what no one else was willing to do. And we have seen God bless our efforts.
