Learn About Our Church
About Us
Amber & I married in 2010. We have 3 children: David (14); Sawyer (11); & Grace (10). The boys are biological, Grace is adopted. I am born and raised in Lowndes County, the community in which we minister.
Our Call to Plant
I was called to pastor in 2017. I pastored a small church for 2 years, then stepped away in 2020 and joined my home church in order to begin seminary at NOBTS and wait for God to make the next step clear. During that time, I continued to work fulltime as a Civil Engineer. During the summer of 2020, God began to burden my heart to plant a church in our community.
About Our Church Plant
I am from the community. God put a burden on my heart in 2020 to share the Gospel without partiality in our community (80% black, 20% white with a long racial history) in the prayer that we would see God birth a church that looked like the church in heaven (every nation, tribe & tongue). Our heart is to see people as God sees them so we can love them as He loves them.
How to pray for us
Growth among the church family. God to raise up laborers. God to bring growth to Gospel seeds that have been planted. God to specifically bring in a black brother as an associate pastor.
