About Us
I am married to my wife, Jesse. We have been married since 2020. We have two boys (Oliver and Edison) and a daughter (Adaline) on the way. We are from Ardmore, AL.
Our Call to Plant
God called me to plant The Church at River Mills through First Baptist Church of Athens. I was serving as an associate pastor at another local church and working through my seminary degree. I never had a desire to plant as I thought God would use me to pastor in the context of established churches. Yet, when approach to plant a church in the west of Athens area, I began to see a need for a healthy, Bible-believing church in that community and knew God was leading me in that direction.
About Our Church Plant
The Church at River Mills exists for Christ’s glory. We are planted in the Owens community just west of Athens, AL. The vision for our church is to make disciples through the preaching of God’s Word. We have seen God use His Word to do mighty things and the preaching of His Word is the means of grace that He has given for the strengthening of the local church.
How to pray for us
We can always use prayer for faithfulness, growth, and a pure Gospel witness in our community.
